Behind the frames

Video Editor — Hanoi, Vietnam
I'm Nghia — most people know me as Tarmaz, the name from my anime music video channel where editing started as a hobby and became a craft. Since 2021 I've cut everything from AMVs and gaming highlights to kids' animation, travel reviews and brand videos, working with three production teams along the way.
What I care about is rhythm: the timing of a cut, the beat drop that lands, the sound effect that makes a moment feel bigger. I edit for retention — whether that's a toddler finishing a video or a client getting conversions from an ad.
Daily tools: Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Photoshop and Topaz Video AI. Currently expanding into motion design, aiming for editor-level work that carries a brand's visual identity, not just its footage.
